Welcome to the internet site of the 494th Bomb Group (Heavy) Association. This site was established for the purpose of providing an online source of information about the 494th Bomb Group(H), the men that served within the Group during World War II, and the 494th Bomb Group(H) Association.

Within the site you will find historical information about "Kelley's Kobras", Squadron Rosters, and a listing of Association members. As the site develops, we will be adding crew and plane pictures with the hopes of reaching out to veterans, family members and friends that we may have lost contact with through the years, as well as provide a source of material about the Group for researchers.

Please note: If you were a member of the 494th Bomb Group(H), and received crew training at Peterson Army Air Base between 1943 and 1944, Mr. Jeffrey Nash would like to hear from you. Mr. Nash is the Assistant Director of the Peterson Air and Space Museum located at what is now Peterson Air Force Base. He is attempting to put together a new exhibit featuring B-24 combat crew training at Peterson, and would like to locate photos and memorabilia that can be used for that purpose.
